Welcome to Waisa Village

The historical village dating back to the 1800's, Waisa originated from the founder Awais Khan who was nicknamed 'Waisa Khan'. This abundant village is geographically situated in the District Attock within one mile of river Indus of the south side.

Waisa neighbour the villages Kamalpur Moosa towards the east, Tajak towards the southern side, Shadi Khan towards west and Sirka Village at the north west. Capital of Pakistan 'Islamabad' is situated 60 miles towards the east of Waisa.

Waisa today is a busy village; people carry on with their work from the early hours of the morning.

After early morning prayers people will begin their daily duties. Early prayer time is started with calls to prayer to invoke the people to begin their day with the prayer. The people of the village will begin their day; some will milk the cows or gather the dust in the yard using a large broom created with fine twigs. Usually the sounds of cockerels can be heard crowing in the morning. People will carry on with their business the sound of horns from vehicles can be heard alongside horses pulling their carts carrying trade. In the long summer days people will return home in the afternoon for rest when the sun is at the highest point in the sky.
